10 - 10.50 am: Control yourself! Lifeskills including self-control
Is your dog impulsive? Does he struggle to listen to you when he's doing something else? Does she find greeting people, going on walks or dinner time just all too exciting? This workshop will show you some self-control exercises to help your dog to build this skill and look at some common training issues such as walking on a lead, saying hello to people and staying in one place, that all involve self-control.
11 - 11.50 am: Be brave! Lifeskills including confidence-building
This is a chance for you and your dog to learn and practice some core skills and learn some fun tricks! Suitable for beginners and for dogs that need a bit more confidence.
12 noon - 12. 50 am: Advanced skills
This workshop is suitable for those on our bronze, silver and gold courses, or dogs with some prior training. Prepare for your winter training by introducing your dog to some fun activities you can do at home or out and about. A brief introduction to some fun activities such as Scentwork, Hoopers, Parkour and Platforms.
Cost: £12 per workshop. Location: Church of the Good Shepherd (outside). Places limited to allow social distancing. Email if you would like a place.
